On today’s Midday Report with host Terry Haines: A glacial outburst flood eroded the banks of the Mendenhall River on Saturday evening, undermining some homes and sending at least one into the river. Hot, dry, windy weekend weather expanded wildfires around the Interior leading to hazardous air quality. And surfers in the Turnagain Arm catch the longest wave in the United States.
