The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has reported nine new cases of COVID-19 on Kodiak. Among these were one community transmission case, four close contact cases, and four travel related cases.
This brings the total case count for the Kodiak Island Borough to 973 cases since the start of the pandemic, with 44 cases classified as active locally.
There have been 39 local hospitalizations to date, and five deaths locally. There are no current active COVID-19 hospitalizations.
There are currently three sites offering Covid-19 testing in Kodiak:

Airport testing: Available only for incoming travelers and outgoing village/ remote site travelers.
