Astra, the California-based rocket launch company, and the Alaska Aerospace Corporation have announced the launch window for their next rocket launch attempt.
From December 7 to 18, Astra will launch their Rocket 3.2, a rocket similar to the one that successfully launched but soon crashed at the Pacific Spaceport Launch Complex near Pasagshak in September.
The new Rocket 3.3 will have upgraded software to fix issues with the guidance system.
This announcement comes as Astra has been selected by the US Air Force to develop Rocket 5.0, which would increase the size of the rocket’s payload in order to transport military cargo. Their goal is to have this larger rocket ready by 2022.
