Kodiak’s COVID-19 count climbed by one more case over the weekend. Four were reported on Friday.
The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization now reports a total 103 cases for the region since the first outbreak in April.
There are five cases currently classified as active.
This latest report involves a Kodiak resident. The Emergency Services Organization did not identify the mode of transmission in this case, which it says remains under investigation.
Out of the other 102 cases classified so far, 55 involve close contact infections, 37 are travel related and 10 are designated as community spread.
