The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization has announced nine new COVID-19 cases for the Kodiak Island Borough. Among these were eight close contact cases, and one community transmission case.
This brings the total case count to 946 cases in the Kodiak Island Borough since the start of the pandemic, with 58 cases classified as active locally.
There have been 38 hospitalizations to date, with one patient currently hospitalized. There have been five deaths due to COVID-19 locally since the start of the pandemic.
There are currently three sites offering Covid-19 testing in Kodiak:

Monday-Friday: 8:30 am- 5:30 pm, Saturday: 10 am- 4 pm
Testing site: 3472 Rezonof Drive East (behind Eyecare Excellence)
Airport testing: Available only for incoming travelers and outgoing village/ remote site travelers.
