            Kodiak’s non-profit recycling organization continues to grow, and there are plans for expansion in the future. Many people probably don’t know that Threshold Services didn’t start out to do recycling just for the sake of recycling.

    Threshold’s program came to the attention of the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority when Reinke approached them to help fund the construction of a new website.

    The Mental Health Trust Authority is a state agency that uses its land and investment assets to fund programs benefiting people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, chronic alcoholism, Alzheimer's and related dementia. After getting to know Threshold, Reinke says the Trust then featured it in a profile on its website.
