            Representativesfrom the Kodiak Island Borough arrived in WashingtonD.C. last Friday to lobby Alaska's Congressional delegation. Theborough visits the nation's capitol every other year.

            This year'sthree-man delegation was Borough Mayor Jerome Selby, Borough Manager RickGifford and Assemblyman Dave Kaplan. All three are headed back to Kodiak today.Kaplan spoke to KMXT's Jacob Resneck by cell phone. He says amidst the budgetimpasse in Juneau,the borough is looking to secure federal dollars for capital projects.
