Begich Holding Video Townhall Meeting

            Following in his colleague Lisa Murkowski's footsteps, Alaska's junior Senator Mark Begich will appear in a video conference with Kodiak residents this (Monday) afternoon to take questions and comments on the health care reform debate.

            Kodiak Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Debra King was on Mike Murray's Friday Morning Show discussing the meeting. She aid after producing the Murkowski event, there were many requests to have Begich on.

            The two-way video conference will be from noon to 1 p.m. this (Monday) afternoon, with the audio portion broadcast live here on KMXT. It will preempt the Midday Report. If you're planning on attending the event in person at the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium, King asks that you be there and seated by 11:50.

            Only a small percentage of the over 100 people who attended the Murkowski videoconference got to ask their questions, but King said she's taking steps for things to be different with Begich:
