On this week's show: Pollock fishermen have been
idled in Dutch Harbor, causing a ripple effect that is far-reaching. The salmon season
this summer is looking increasingly bleak for Yukon River fishermen - but there is some
relief for their plight coming from Seattle. And a crewman purposely jumps
overboard and refuses all attempts at rescue. We had help from freelance producer Mike Mason
in Anchorage, and lots of help from KUCB's Anne Hillman in Unalaska.
