There are three new faces on the Kodiak Island Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors, and a new president.

Cara Eastman, Val Flinders and Bob Stanford were voted in by the membership and announced at the bureau's annual meeting on January 24th.

Longtime president Jan Pennington did not seek re-election to the board, and Dan Busch was selected as the organization's new president at the board's first meeting last Tuesday. Katie Oliver will continue as vice president, Susan Johnson as treasurer and Brigid Dodge as secretary.

The KICVB board oversees the staff that operates the Kodiak Visitors Center in the Ferry Terminal and publishes the Kodiak Island Visitors Guide.
