Comets and the South Anchorage Wolverines didn't make it in on time Thursday for
the 42nd Annual Joe Floyd Christmas Basketball Tournament, which threw the
schedule into disarray. Three, instead of four, games were played, with the
Homer Mariner girls winning a late opener against the Petersburg Vikings 38-37.

by the Kodiak girls against Petersburg in the 7 p.m. night cap.

Chevak boys at 1:45. The Kodiak girls will take on Homer at 3:30 p.m. and the
boys will play South at 5:30 p.m. to wrap up the three-day tournament.
