    Today during the 50th anniversary week of the Great Alaskan Earthquake and Tsunami, we continue our Waves of Destruction series, brought to you by a partnership with the Kodiak College.
    Today we’ll hear from Charles Madsen.
     Lifelong Kodiak resident Charles Madsen was 11 years old when the earthquake struck. More than 20 years later, he still recalls in vivid detail the sights, sounds, and smells of the earthquake and tsunami and the devastation of downtown Kodiak.
