Below, members of Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak and the North Slope Borough Search and Rescue talk to residents of Barrow during a North Slope Borough Search and Rescue open house event July 11, 2012. Two helicopters with supporting air, ground and communications crews were moved 900-miles north from Kodaik to Barrow to reduce response time in the event of an incident in the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas this summer.
