Members of the Kodiak Youth Bowling League are in the state capital this week, and Representative Alan Austerman took a few minutes to have them recognized by members of the State House Thursday.

They are: Joshua Morin, Dustin Swearingin, Brandan Pickett, Samuel Bennett, Hunter Blair, Elianah Micael, Tyler Skonberg, Tina Cruz, Dylan Cavanaugh, Joel Skonberg, Jack Bormuel, Jason Bormuel, and Jerish Bormuel.

Austerman also introduced the coaches, parents and chaperones: Ruth Hentges, Joyce Blair; and Tino and Virginia Bormuel, and Stefan Macahilas.

The young bowlers are in Juneau for the Alaska State Youth Bowling Championships, which last through Sunday. Young bowlers from across the state are participating.
