The 11 and 12 year old Little League all star boys are one and one in the district one double elimination tournament in Anchorage.

Little League coach Les James called in this morning with this update:

            (James 1                     :54s     “…it was 5 to 1.”)

Their second game in the tournament also had great plays from the all star boys when they battled against City View.

            (James 2                     1:06     “…good time over here.”)

The boys next game is scheduled for 5 p.m. tonight (Thursday) against Soldotna, the only team they lost to in the Kenai tournament last weekend. If they win this game, they advance to a game scheduled on Friday. If they lose however, they will have struck out of the district one tournament.
