From KMXT in Kodiak, this is the Alaska Fisheries Report. Coming up this week...

The Supreme Court delivers a crushing blow to plaintiffs in the Exxon Valdez punitive damages case, reducing the settlement to one-tenth of the original award.

We’ll have reaction from the docks of Kodiak to the law offices of Anchorage to the halls of power in Juneau and Washington, D.C.

Also, what does the smaller award mean for the financial plans many claimants made in anticipation of the decision.

Those stories and more coming up on this week’s Alaska Fisheries Report.

I’m Casey Kelly. Thanks for joining me.
