An Air Station Kodiak Jayhawk helicopter crew lifted a sick crewman from a fishing boat last night eight miles west of Saint George Island. The MH-60 was forward deployed in nearby Saint Paul in support of the ongoing commercial fishing season.

The 60-year-old man was hoisted from the fishing vessel Golden Alaska at about 9 p.m. and transferred him to the airport in Saint George where he was due to be picked up by a commercial life flight and brought to Providence Alaska Medical Center for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
