This afternoon, Kodiak residents have the opportunity to offer testimony on
the state operating budget during a hearing of the House Finance Committee.
Representative Alan Austerman serves on that committee.

are interested in seeing funding for the Marine Advisory Program restored to
the University of
Alaska budget can testify this afternoon. Public testimony on the proposed operating budget is
scheduled from 4:15 to 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 3rd) for the Kodiak, Homer and Kenai
On Friday, Austerman will be back
in Kodiak and will host an open house at his office from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. He
says he's eager to hear concerns and to share information about the legislative
session which is now at the half-way mark.
The representative's office is
located inside the Kodiak L.I.O which is at 112 Mill Bay Road.
