If you were listening to NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" Sunday, you may have heard a Kodiak resident guessing the answers during the Listener Limerick Challenge. Not only did Laura Creighton manage to get on the show, she did well enough to win the coveted prize - Carl Kassel's voice on her answering machine.

--          (Kasell 1                     34 sec              "I do Sunday mornings ... broadcast at the same time.")

Creighton (crate'nn) says the experience was exciting, and more than a little nerve-wracking:

--          (Kasell 2                     44 sec              "So I waited around and ... no, not everybody!")

So without further ado, here's Carl Kasell's voice on Laura Creighton's answering machine:

--          (Kasell 3                     16 sec              "Hi! You've reached the ... she calls you back.")

Creighton says she gets a few puzzled questions from those friends who don't know who Carl Kasell is, or what "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" is, but not many, and she said they think it's cool anyway.
