the Community Hall from noon to 3 p.m. and again from 5 to 7 p.m.

Lions cell service will operate on the GSM standard, which are phones that use
SIM cards. Tel-Alaska says it will offer several plans, including, local
service, local-and-beyond, and roaming. It can also be bundled with landline
service. Data plans for smart phones and text messaging will also be available.
is the eighth Alaska community to receive cell service from Tel-Alaska this
year, with more to be added next year. The others are Cold Bay, Fort Yukon,
Galena, Iliamna, King Cove, Sand Point and Teller.
