The annual Joe Floyd Christmas Basketball Tournament kicked off this afternoon at 3:45 with the girls from Dimond and Grace Christian facing off. There are only two games on tonight's schedule because the boys' bracket is one team short this year. At 6 p.m. the Point Hope Harpooners and the Bethel Warrior boys play. At 7:45 the Lady Bears play the girls from Bethel.

On Friday, play starts at 1 p.m. with the Lady Warriors and the Dimond Lynx playing, followed at 2:45 with the Kodiak JV Boys and the Harpooners playing. The evening games have the girls from Grace Christian playing the Lady Bears at 5 p.m. and the Kodiak boys taking on the Bethel Warriors at 7.

Saturday's action at the round-robin tournament starts at high noon with the Kodiak boys JV and the Warriors playing, followed by Grace Christian and Bethel at 1:45. The late games are actually quite early, withy the Kodiak boys taking on Point Hope at 3 p.m. and the Lady Bears playing the Lynx at 5:30.

You can hear the play-by-play of all the home games on KVOK radio.
