The Kodiak
City Council last Thursday approved a new round of funding for local non-profit
organizations.
The city
council approved a resolution awarding $89,000 to local non-profit
organizations for city support for the next year. In addition to the
"real
money" contribution the city also gives a significant amount of in-kind
donations, usually in the form of free rent or free use of city
property.
KMXT's
Maggie Wall has more.
